KAMAR SAMEDHI
“Samedhi” is a Javanese meditation that came into existence long before the introduction of Buddhism in the 8th century. The signature treatment in this room is the Dandang Watoe, an ancient massage therapy using stones from the Yang Tze River in China and the volcanic mountain in Central Java. The stones are heated in traditional steamers using exotic spices ad herbs, before located on important pressure points and rhythmically massaged.
