• the goal of the de-tox program is to eliminate accumulated by waste from the body
• our food uses only fresh fruits and vegetables to pave the way for your body to cleanse itself of toxins built up through the consumption of processed foods and alcohol
• don’t count calories, our de-tox is designed to reduce weight through a simple cleansing diet
• the food we serve you is designed to build up an appreciation of tasty nutritional food that your body and your taste buds will love
• we avoid foods that contain hidden additives and preservatives, excess sugars and oils
• we recommend that you re-introduce other elements of your regular diet slowly and discontinue the use of processed food
We recommend the following:
• follow our exercise routine to create the production of sweat as this increases elimination
• deep breathing exercises can be practiced twice daily to build up oxygen levels and increase the elimination of waste through elevated energy levels.
• practice elevating the body through lifting the feet or the pelvis regularly or holding yoga poses such as downwards dog to increase blood flow to the major organs
• body brushing can be undertaken each day before showering, the natural bristle brushes are available in your suite and are useful in the de-tox procedure
• make the most of the natural sunlight, exercise in early morning sunlight or afternoon light to maximize benefits and reduce harm to the skin
Gentle advice for your de-tox program:
Please drink plenty of water during your de-tox and when low on energy drink apple juice.
Try to avoid more than limited alcohol, try to stop smoking, avoid coffee and peanuts as well as all processed soy products such as tofu and soy milk, although soy sauce and endame – soy beans- are non irritant.
